At A.C. Whyte, we CARE and have officially launched our ‘Wellbeing Hub’

In line with World Mental Health Day, the theme this year is to make mental health and wellbeing a global priority. At A.C. Whyte, we CARE and have officially launched our ‘Wellbeing Hub’.

Our Mission?

At A.C. Whyte, our people are our strength, we champion the importance of training and development throughout the entire business. As part of our wellbeing strategy, we have officially established and launched our ‘Wellbeing Hub’ who have our teams’ best interests at heart and are all qualified Mental Health First Aiders, with plans for further training across the team.

As well as this, A.C. Whyte have signed up to the ‘Building Mental Health Charter’, an online portal of information and initiative for the Construction industry specifically. This demonstrates our commitment to promoting awareness and understanding of mental health, lowering stigma and supporting our team.

We have completed our ‘See Me Scotland’ Application which will further support us in strengthening our wellbeing strategy and have engaged with the Lighthouse Charity’s ‘Help Inside the Hard Hat’ campaign, posters have been distributed across all of our sites and head office.

Over the coming months, we will be looking at ways to further support our teams emotional, physical, financial and social wellbeing, continuing to create an open and inclusive culture, we are all in this together.
