A.C. Whyte shortlisted for two categories at the Herald Top Employer awards

A.C. Whyte have been recognised as finalists for the Herald Top Employer awards, in the categories of ‘Best Use of Digital Technologies’ and ‘Best Training and Skills Development Initiative’. The awards ceremony is an opportunity to recognise businesses, where care for their employees is firmly embedded into their culture of the organisation.

Judges were looking for businesses which prioritise training, development and progression, where their people are at the centre of their decision making. For A.C. Whyte, our people are our strength and we champion the importance of skills, training and development throughout the entire business. We continually invest in our teams’ development to ensure they are equipped to deliver the quality services we pride ourselves on. We strongly believe in identifying where our teams strengths lie as individuals and give them the space to thrive.

The Training and Skills Development category set out to shine a light on a business which has extensive training and development opportunities. They wanted candidates to provide evidence of opportunities available to their team and show how they have taken an innovative approach as well as the impact it has had for their business.

The Best Use of Digital Technologies category recognised businesses which have implemented digital features into their employee and wider communication strategies through the use of apps, intranet services and online learning, demonstrating how this has positively impacted their team.

We are delighted to get to this stage and its all down to our incredible team who make A.C. Whyte a great place to work, they are what keep is at the forefront of our sector.

The winners will be announced on the 26th October at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Glasgow and its set to be a fantastic night. Good luck to all the other finalists and a huge congratulations for making it to this stage.
