Introduction to the Role 

A.C. Whyte and Co. Ltd have ambitious plans for the future and we are actively growing our team.  Our construction team is actively seeking a new experienced Driver Labourer to join the team. 

We are looking for Labourer/Drivers to join our expanding team who have construction site experience.  It is crucial that our ‘Quality as Standard’ ethos is reflected in all areas of our workmanship and consistently delivered across all projects therefor, the successful candidate must have an eye for detail delivering work of the highest calibre. 

As the social housing sector evolves to focus on energy efficiency, this role is an opportunity be involved in the development of a rapidly-growing department.  Diversity of skills, experience, and a willingness to embrace new challenges are all qualities that we’re looking for during this period of growth.   A.C. Whyte is already a leader in the energy efficiency sector, and the evolution of our in-house team is signalling the way forward. 

Main Duties:  

• General Labouring
• Driving commercial vehicles
• Maintaining clean and tidy sites
• Collecting + delivering materials
• Assisting various trades
