A.C. Whyte have just completed phase six of North Lanarkshire Councils energy efficiency programme which has seen over 1000 solid wall properties fitted with external wall insulation.  The works have been ongoing since 2014 starting in the Birkenshaw area, with the majority of installations completed in the Cumbernauld area.  Residents have commented that they see a huge difference in their fuel bill, they have noticed a vast improvement in health issues like asthma and feel the community now takes more pride in the area as it is completely transformed and looks like new.
