“INCA are delighted to welcome Jennifer to our Board of Directors. A.C. Whyte’s involvement will be invaluable in ensuring INCA is a strong collective voice to the Scottish Government, one that is involved in shaping policy and affecting change to the benefit of the industry and those involved with it.” – Katie Nurcombe, INCA
Jennifer’s appointment follows in the footsteps of A.C. Whyte’s Managing Director Bob Phin. In 2014/15 Bob sat on the board and during this time identified the need for INCA to focus its attention on the ever changing and unique Scottish market and was instrumental in establishing the Scottish Strategy Group.
Bob championed awareness activity in Scotland and A.C. Whyte supported INCA in arranging a Scottish event, which brought together a small targeted group of social housing representatives, procurement organisations and the Scottish Government. The Scottish activity has gained momentum and INCA have secured a quarterly meeting with the Scottish Government; Jennifer and the other board members will look to use this platform to share the association’s collective experience as well as represent the industry and its needs.
Jennifer has grasped the opportunity to be involved at such a strategic level and is looking forward to working with the INCA team and continuing the efforts of the previous board.
Jennifer is joined on the board by Chairman Pádraig Barry (Weber), who is now in the second year of his two-year term, will be supported by System Designer Members, Tim Deathridge (Sto), Ben Parry (Alsecco) and Stewart Taylor (Alumasc); Contractor Members, Steve Baker (Complete Rendering Solutions), Adrian Bishoop (Westdale), and Alan Robb (SERS); Associate Members, Richard Bromwich (Kingspan) and Rob Hardes (Brett Specialised Aggregates); and Past Chairman Mike Threadgold (Mapei).
