The Scottish Government has designated energy efficiency as a National Infrastructure Priority and have committed to a 15 to 20 year investment programme that will transform the energy efficiency and heating of our buildings. The ambition is to achieve near zero carbon emission from our homes, schools, hospitals and business by the year 2035.
As a main contractor in the major refurbishment of social housing for Local Authorities and Housing Associations we have worked closely with our clients in achieving SHQS (Social Housing Quality Standards) and more recently EESSH (Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing). We design every refurbishment project to maximise energy efficiency and dramatically reduce fuel bills with a tailored ‘whole house’ approach.
By forging partnerships with energy providers and intermediaries, we aim to ensure that homes across the UK meet green credentials.
