East Ayrshire Council’s primary goals for this project were to optimise their capital spend, significantly enhance residents’ comfort, and reinvest in their housing stock to ensure long-term value and sustainability.
By partnering with AC Whyte, the council looked to create a positive impact on the community, aligning with their commitment to delivering high-quality housing and fostering partnerships with local organisations to maximise benefits for residents.
The project achieved outstanding results, significantly improving the living standards for residents across 490 homes. The upgraded properties now offer greater comfort, enhancing both their functionality and appeal.
Residents also benefited from a cleaner, tidier environment, thanks to collaborative efforts with local organisations. By prioritising safety, quality, and community engagement, the project delivered lasting value, reinvesting in East Ayrshire’s housing stock while supporting the local economy and creating a positive legacy for the area.
We are extremely pleased with the successful completion of our External Envelope Enhancement Programme 2020/21, delivered in Dalrymple, Logan and Kilmaurs, East Ayrshire.
The project team delivered high-quality results on schedule and their proactive communication ensured disruption was minimised for our tenants throughout the process.
The housing improvements have provided warmer and more energy efficient homes for our tenants, enhanced the appearance of the properties and positively impacted the local community.
