Owner Bob Phin was presented with an Outstanding Achievement Award at this years’ INCA Awards, that celebrate innovation, quality and excellence in External Wall Insulation. Bob’s award acknowledged his legendary career, spanning over three decades. Bob was instrumental in growing A.C. Whyte from a humble £250,000 turnover, to the highly respected, quality focussed, renowned business that exists today, with a turnover peaking at £13m before handing over the Managing Director role to daughter Jennifer in December 2015.
Bob has successfully grown the business with the support of an incredibly talented and loyal team, many with him from the beginning of his thirty-year journey. Karen Fraser, A.C. Whyte’s Office Manager received a Recognition Award at the Herald Scottish Family Business Awards. A young Karen joined the team over 37 years ago and has been integral to A.C. Whyte’s success and growth. A key attribute of Karen’s is her dedication, a quality she shares with Bob and the wider A.C. Whyte team, collectively forming a formidable team.
Bob, Karen and the entire A.C. Whyte team have consistent, intrinsic values, that coupled with our ‘right first-time’ approach and our unwavering commitment to delivering quality as standard for our clients and their residents, meant we also won the coveted Customer Service Excellence Award. We put residents at the heart of everything we do and every member of the team is dedicated to making the residents experience a positive one. The team deserve the recognition and we celebrated our successes proud of our collective achievements.
