A.C. Whyte are Gas Safe Registered and have an in-house Gas, Plumbing and Heating Manager, Rae Kirkpatrick who manages our heating and gas division, our team have over 150+ years Gas Industry experience. This allows us to provide a unique service in line with our projects, in all types of gas services such as carrying out essential plumbing alterations on External Wall Insulation works, installing major gas appliances such as boilers and completing gas safety checks ensuring all paperwork meets industry standards and issuing certificates.

Rae joined the team in early February this year and has played an integral role in supporting our growth strategy as we further expand our business offering.  He currently leads a team of nine individuals, with plans for further recruitment.

We ensure that our team are equipped with the relevant support, tools and training to reach both their personal and professional goals.

A recent example of this is our newly qualified Gas Engineer, Neil Wishart who joined our team as a Trainee Gas Engineer in May this year. Neil has over 14 years military experience and applied for the position direct via A.C. Whyte, we supported Neil by giving him exposure to real, on-site experience whilst going through his ACS qualification. Rae Kirkpatrick, commented:
